Katherine "Kat" Aul Cervoni
founder + principal
Kat’s passion for landscape design began from an early age amidst the Daylily beds of her mother’s gardens in Georgia. After completing a horticultural internship at the New York Botanical Garden she went on to earn her master’s degree in Landscape Design from Columbia University in New York. For the last 8 years she has been working in the landscape design/build industry throughout the NYC metro area and beyond.
Outside of Staghorn, Kat enjoys long-distance running, crossword puzzles, and traveling with her husband, Michael. They live in Brooklyn with a small menagerie of adorable animals.
When Arabella's not in garden mode she enjoys studying & practicing Chinese Medicine and herbalism, as well as performance art & music.
Brian likes recording experimental music or collaborating on a large scale public art projects in cities across the U.S.
Away from site work, you might catch Julian in the park for a game of pickup basketball or futbol, or tinkering with music at home.
Outside of Staghorn, Greg enjoys working on computers and cars. Always looking for something to reverse engineer.
Zach keeps busy at home in Bushwick, writing and playing music, and shooting hoops at Maria Hernandez park.
Outside of work, Derrike enjoys routing for the Flyers and Phillies and drinking any IPA you put out in front of him.
When she's not busy jumping on new shop arrivals, Penny loves eating grass, making blanket and pillow forts, and staying velcroed to her mom & dad.
In her spare time, she enjoys working with natural dyes, painting, and dreaming about the future.
